The Penpal Project facilitates exchanges between school children from Germany and Ghana. These exchanges are supervised by teachers and mentors at Oak Foundation. The aim is to improve cultural competency, English literacy and communication skills amongst the students.
Additionally, the goal of the project is to enable students learn about the stories and cultures of each other, and ultimately in the long-term help eradicate negative stereotypes.
