OAK Foundation focuses on educational programs because, the situation whereby every 4th girl out of 10 drops out of school before reaching tertiary level, has devastating consequences for the Ghanaian society.
OAK Foundation supports children from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds and communities to attain quality education and rewarding careers. Through our work, we empower young girls to pursue their dreams, transform their lives and achieve economic well-being.
The program has supported about 3,000 students, especially young girls in Senior High Schools, to pursue higher education through our programs such as Penpal, Laptop donation and mentorship projects.
OAK has about 60 volunteers from different tertiary institutions in Ghana who support our PAM girls and Eagle Ladies mentorship projects.
The Pen Pal projects facilitate exchanges between schoolchildren from Germany and Ghana.
